The Mary Shelley Collection explores themes of resurrection, memory, and beauty reborn from what has been forgotten. Inspired by the gothic romance and quiet brilliance of Mary Shelley, the collection reflects the emotional depth behind her life and work, particularly the haunting story of her keeping her husband’s heart wrapped in his writing. That image of devotion and tenderness in grief became a central inspiration.

Using deadstock and upcycled fabrics alongside repurposed leather, each garment carries a sense of history. The design process became a form of reanimation—bringing new life to forgotten materials, much like the themes of creation and transformation found in Shelley’s work.

Visually, the collection draws from dark academia, blending tailored structure with delicate textures. Corsetry, lace blouses, and layered silhouettes move together like the pages of an unfinished novel. A palette of oxblood, ink black, and aged ivory evokes candlelit libraries, worn manuscripts, and forgotten love letters.

The result is a collection that sits between past and present, romantic, melancholic, and deeply human—where storytelling, sustainability, and craftsmanship come together through material and silhouette.
